WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY

  1. All RMA claims must be accompanied by an RMA form.
  2. You can find and download on bottom of the webpage; www.lucentind.com.
  3. Send completed form to RMA@lucentind.com.
  4. You will receive an RMA # before you can return the merchandise. Without an RMA #, we will refuse the returned shipment.

SUMMARY

  • All goods must have RMA # prior to returning for refund or replacement.
  • Customers must inspect the receiving shipment(s) for damages and shortages. Please refer to ‘Damage at receipt due to shipping’ section.
  • All products shipped back must have RMA # marked clearly on the BOL and or the packaging.
  • We reserve the right to refuse shipment without the proper RMA being shown.
  • We reserve the right for products to be returned for testing and we will pay for return only within 6 months of purchase.
  • If the product is requested to be returned by us, please make sure to pack the product well so that it doesn’t incur additional damages.
  • RMA claims are processed separately, and values cannot be deducted from invoices without a credit note nor can items be replaced without a finalized RMA number.Please note: We cannot under any circumstances accept a product that is not ours. If so, the customer will be responsible for both the product and shipping costs.

ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND OR EXCHANGE

  1. Products found to be defective within the warranty period are eligible for refund or exchange at tour discretion.
  2. Physical damage to products is not eligible for refund or exchange unless noted within 7 days of receipt and marked on BOL. Please refer to ‘Damage at receipt due to shipping’
  3. Products purchased within the last 6 months, must include the original box with original packaging materials in a sellable condition with the return. Otherwise, We must charge a 15% restocking fee. This is applicable for returns only.
  4. The final determination of eligibility will be at our sole discretion.
  5. Shipping will be covered by us for purchases made within 6 months or less. Anything beyond this time frame will be covered by the consumer.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund prior to your order being shipped. Typically, most orders are shipped the same day they are received. Our customer service desk can inform you of the status of your order and advise you if the order can be canceled for a full refund.

RE: TESTING RMA PRODUCTS
All products returned are to be tested before a refund, exchange or credit can be issued.

  • If the product is found to be not defective and is returned without the original packaging the client will have the option of paying for the product to be returned or receiving a credit and charged a restocking fee.
  • If the product is not defective but returned with the original packaging the client will have the option of receiving a credit or paying for the product to be returned.
  • At any time, if an RMA is found to be not defective it is the responsibility of the client to pay for the return courier shipment and charged our 15% restocking fee.

RE: MISSING RMA NUMBER ON BOL AND OR PACKAGING
Due to high volume, an unmarked package can be easily misidentified or misplaced. Therefore, we require an RMA number to be clearly marked on the packaging and BOL.

  • Any returns without an RMA number marked on the packaging and or the BOL is subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • We reserve the right to refuse shipment without RMA number to insure your package and contents aren’t lost.
  • Any products returned without an RMA number will not be accepted. If we accept it by accident, we cannot be responsible for possession of the product.

RE: DAMAGE AT RECEIPT DUE TO SHIPPING (Including large items such as Panel Lights 1×4, 2×4 | Troffers 1×4, 2×4 | All 8ft Items)

NOTE: Restocking fees may apply depending on the situation. Damages occur when the trucking company employee(s) strap the pallet(s) on the truck to secure the pallet from tipping over. Due to the tension required of the strap and the pressure focused on one single area, boxes can easily break, and products can easily be damaged. We at LUCENT will place enough warnings however, people can make mistakes and no shipping company wants to pay for these problems. Please follow the following steps to ensure a smooth return:

  1. Write on the BOL “Damaged” or “Missing X pieces”
  2. Send pictures and copy of BOL to RMA@lucentind.com within 7 days of receipt and inform our RMA department. We’ll immediately start the claim process.
  3. We may not request the product to returned but may ask that pictures of the defect be provided, and the product be marked with our RMA number. The customer has the choice of a credit or replacement.

WARNING: If we are not notified of damaged during transit within 7 days, GLLUSA reserves the right to not honor the claim as well as the shipping company.
